HIGH Peak Twins and Multiples Club will be taking part in Whaley Bridge Carnival on Saturday, dressing the twins up as animals for their Noah's Ark Float.

After that, from 3pm-5pm, they will be celebrating the group's fifth birthday with a party at Whaley Bridge Bowling Club (next to Whaley Bridge Primary School on the Buxton Road], with party food, and children's entertainment from Krafty Kev.

Anyone in or around the High Peak either expecting twins, or with a set of Twins (or more), are welcome to attend this free event. The Twins Club provides friendly moral support and information to help you cope with the reality of looking after more than one at a time, so why not drop in and say hello.

Their regular meetings are at Busy Bees in Buxton on the 1st Tuesday in the month from 1pm - 3pm, and Monkey Magic Play Centre in New Mills on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, so pop in and join them for a coffee whilst the children sleep or play.

There's also a twins information evening for anyone expecting twins or more, wherever they are delivering, run by the Twins Clubs in the area, at The Women's Unit, Stepping Hill Hospital, on Friday July 24 at 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

Doesn't matter what stage you're at, go along and meet some of those who've got twins or more, and ask whatever you like about their experiences – you might pick up a few tips, and meet some friendly faces from your local group.

For more information about any of these, please contact Annie Diamond on 01663 733679.
