TWO local groups have been given a cash boost.

Last year Derbyshire County Council launched a £1m grant offering voluntary and community organisations one-off funding of between £10,000 and £250,000.

Hope Sports Club has been awarded £92,840 to replace its existing pavilion with a new multi-use community facility while Eyam Sports Association will receive £28,418 to further develop its games area.
