A concert taking place at the Globe in Glossop this Saturday is spanning both the miles and the generations as it raises money for The Christie.
Reformation is bringing together Form, a collaboration between musicians in Glossopdale, Manchester and London, and singer songwriters Dan Drury from Ashton and Bethany Southworth from Hadfield. The musicians range in age from 18 to over 50, but all want to raise money for the Christie Hospital, having experience of the great work it does.
Concert-goers will enjoy an eclectic mix of original music spanning rock, folk and ‘melody driven foot tappers’, with a few covers thrown in.
Singer and songwriter John Phythian, of Glossop, said: “The Christie does so much good work and through ticket sales and events on the night we’re hoping to raise £500 for this great cause.”
Tickets are available from The Globe, Bay Tree books or at www.wegottickets.com/event/279535.
