Castleton: ‘Naked Rambler’ trial adjourned

The trial of a hiker known as the Naked Rambler, who is accused of entering a Castleton shop without any clothes on, has been adjourned at Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court.

Stephen Gough, 53, of Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire, denies the charge of threatening behaviour after allegedly entering ASD Jewellers nude and speaking to a staff member on November 1, 2012.

The trial had been due to start today (February 25) but has now been adjourned to the afternoon of April 24.
