Car fire in Peak

FIREFIGHTERS from Buxton and Bradwell were called to a car on fire off the A623 between Wheston and Peak Forest on Friday night.

On arrival, just after 7.30pm, crews found the car was well alight and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

The incident was then left with the police, who were also in attendance.
