Campaign to boost links with twin town in Poland
WHALEY Bridge-Tymbark Twinning Association is launching 'Twinning 2010' to help promote and extend the twinning links and friendships that exist between the two towns.
Posters have been circulated, by the Twinning Association, to various organisations and also put on display in public places in the town.
They are inviting any group or individual in Whaley Bridge to send a letter, card or email to a similar group or individual in Tymbark, telling them a bit about their lives in Whaley Bridge and asking about their lives in Poland.
There will be further opportunities for new links to be created during a visit by Polish school pupils to Taxal and Fernilee Primary School.
