COUNCILLORS have called for a visitor centre in Hayfield.

Speaking during last week’s meeting of Hayfield Parish Council, Cllr Phil Chapman said: “We need a visitor centre to promote the village and the surrounding area.”

Cllr Val Wieteska agreed, adding: “I think it would bring all things to all people.”

Council chair Cllr Andrew Ramwell said: “A visitor centre would be good for Hayfield.”
