The Met Office is warning of snow in the High Peak.

The first snowfall of 2013 is expected to hit Buxton and the High Peak.

Met Office forecasters have issued an alert warning of snow tonight (Sunday) and during Monday.

A Met Office spokesman said: “The public is advised to be aware of disruption to travel and take extra care.”
