Burglary witness appeal
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a home on West Drive, Tintwistle was burgled on Tuesday.
The thieves struck between 11.30am and 4.30pm and stole jewellery, a digital camera and a computer monitor.
Residents saw several strangers hanging around during the afternoon. One of them was described as a white man in his early 20s about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with shaved dark hair. He was wearing black trousers and a black shirt.
