Attempted break-in

POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted break-in on Glossop Road, Charlesworth, in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

Between 1am and 1.24am, the would-be thief prised open a garage door, setting off a burglar alarm.

* A pedestrian received a minor head injury after he was in collision with a Ford Transit Van on Glossop Road, Gamesley, at 7.27pm on Wednesday evening.
