Chapel-en-le-Frith’s Blythe House Hospice is one of the organisations set to benefit from the annual Text Santa campaign, which will be on ITV tomorrow night (Friday).
Help the Hospices, of which Blythe House is a member, is one of six charities to benefit from this year’s campaign, which is raising public awareness about hospice care.
Sheila Tyler, director of Blythe House, said: “We are the only hospice in the High Peak and support more than 1,000 clients a year. As an independent charity we remain committed to providing specialist services to local people and their families affected by cancer or a life-threatening illness.
“We are delighted by the publicity generated by Text Santa and are immensely grateful to everyone who has supported it in some way. We are sure that Text Santa will be hugely successful in raising valuable funds for so many worthwhile charities.”
Text Santa will be shown on ITV from 8pm on Friday.
