HIGH Peak consumers are being urged not to buy from cold callers and use Derbyshire County Council’s free Trusted Trader service following a new report.

A national review carried out by the Office of Fair Trading has highlighted a growth in telephone and doorstep cold calling – particularly by energy efficiency providers.

The Trusted Trader register is accessible on line at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/tt or by calling Call Derbyshire on 08456 058 058.
