£125,000 to be spent on road repairs in Buxton

Over £100,000 is to be spent on improving two roads in Buxton.

Bench Road and Mosley Road will be resurfaced next month by Derbyshire County Council at a cost of £125,000.

The work at Mosley Road will also include pavement resurfacing.

The money is part of a £35 million fund for road repairs across the county.

Cllr Dean Collins, Deputy Cabinet Member for Jobs, Economy and Transport, said: “We are committed to improving roads and pavements to provide Derbyshire with an efficient transport network which will help to build a strong economy that creates jobs and supports businesses.”
