Cybermen could be visiting the High Peak if a ten-year-old Doctor Who fan wins a national competition.

Leonardo Parker, from Hayfield, has been named a Doctor Who superfan in a competition run by Doctor Who Adventures magazine. If he wins overall, cybermen will visit his school, and he’ll also win a VIP family ticket to the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Celebration at the ExCel Centre in London.

He has been shortlisted for the competition after sending in amazing pictures of an alien invasion in Hayfield.

Natalie Barnes, Editor of Doctor Who Adventures magazine, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the huge amount of imaginative and creative entries. Doctor Who is an inspiration to children all over the UK and we loved Leonardo’s entry. It’s going to be so tough picking a winner!”
