MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAMS were called to Edale on Saturday night after a walker slipped and dislocated their shoulder.
The Edale and Buxton Mountain Rescue Teams snatch squad found the 46-year-old man near Halfway Rocks in Grindsbrook Gorge.
He was treated on site by team medics and taken by stretcher to Grindslow House, Edale. He was then taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital for treatment.
Shortly after, the teams were called to a second incident near Edale Cross where a 66-year-old man from Bournemouth had collapsed with exhaustion.
Edale and Buxton Team personnel were deployed via Jacobs Ladder to Edale Cross and were joined by their colleagues from the Kinder Team. The man was treated on site by team medics before being carried to the Kinder Team vehicle and taken to their base in Hayfield.
His condition on arrival in Hayfield had improved greatly so he was given tea and food and taken to his accommodation.
