Kinder Visitor Centre plans

Organisers behind plans for a permanent visitor centre to recognise the importance of the 1932 Kinder Mass Trespass have created a five-point plan to help them achieve their aim.

The Kinder Visitor Centre Group, Hayfield, (KVCG) is holding events to help generate money for the project.

These include a series of one-day events in Hayfield, starting on Saturday April 5, combining three attractions - a Kinder Trespass history display, an exhibition and sale of images of Kinder and Hayfield moorlands, admission is free; publishing a booklet of walks around Hayfield called Follow the Footsteps of the Kinder Trespassers, price £1.50, available from the village store; continuing to promote the Friends of Kinder Trespass membership scheme launched last year and continuing to develop posters, photographs and cards for sale at events and on the website, kindertrespass.com.
