An exclusive international jewellery store is to open new premises in Buxton.

Pandora, the Danish company famous for its customizable charm bracelets, designer rings, necklaces and watches, will move into its new home at the town’s The Springs shopping centre in September.

The new store will create a total of eight new jobs, two of which will be the managerial roles which have been advertised in the local press in recent weeks.

A Pandora spokesman said: “Our mission statement is to offer women across the world a universe of high quality, hand-finished and modern jewellery made from genuine metals at affordable prices.

“We are excited to be bringing this to Buxton.”

Pandora was founded in 1982 by Per Enevoldsen.

The company started as a family-run jewellery shop in Copenhagen before transforming to an international brand.
