Inaugural Litton Poetry Festival for Peak poet

Litton is hosting the smallest ever poetry festival next weekend, in memory of a former Derbyshire poet laureate.

The village, near Tideswell, will be alive with verse from July 12th to 14th in tribute to the late Ann Atkinson, who died of a brain tumour last year.

The line-up features comedian John Hegley and the current poet laureate Matt Black, as well as workshops and a ceilidh.
