Detectives are appealing for witnesses of an early morning cigarette raid at a convenience store in the Derbyshire Dales.

The Spar shop in School Lane, Baslow village, was targeted by burglars who forced their way in through a door.

They then raided the cigarette cabinet and stole a large number of packets in the incident, which happened at about 1.50am on April 29.

Although it was an early hours break-in, police are asking for anyone who was in the area at that time to get in touch if they saw anything they think might help.
