High Peak residents are being urged to remember a loved one in a special way with the annual Light Up a Life appeal.
The appeal, run by Blythe House Hospice, gives locals the chance to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one, or to honour a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary or the birth of a child.
The lights will be on display at the hospice in Chapel-en-le-Frith from mid-November to January, and will be switched on at a special ceremony on Sunday November 16 at 3.30pm.
The Light Up a Life Festival will feature performances from Tideswell Male Voice Choir and a service by the Reverend Richard Mottershead. Everyone is welcome.
