High Peak GCSE students buck the trend

PUPILS across Derbyshire have been bucking the national trend by achieving record GCSE results.

More than 8,000 students across the county received their results today (Thursday) with many High Peak students helping their schools achieve their best ever results.

Provisional results show that 57 per cent of students in Derbyshire achieved five or more GCSEs at grades A* to C.
