Help set policing priorities

Residents in Whaley Bridge and Furness Vale are being invited to shape policing in their community.

The Whaley Bridge Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting locals to attend a meeting on April 27, to have their say on issues that matter to them the most.

Sergeant Steve Johnson, PC Graham Mason and PCSO Tracey Jones are set to run the meeting from 1pm at the Mechanics Institute in Whaley Bridge.

The meetings give people the opportunity to chat to officers about any community concerns that they may have, along with picking up crime prevention advice from the team.

The feedback will then be used to set the policing priorities for the area for the next three months.
