FOUR Buxton youngsters, Tuesday and Joel Ibbotson, and Beth and Dan Waterhouse, have helped raise almost £3,000 for charity by climbing Ben Nevis.

Accompanied by Yvette Ibbotson, Belinda Waterhouse, Tiff and Alan Barnes, they completed their challenge to raise funds for the Bone Cancer Research Trust in memory of Kyle Jones, 19, who sadly lost his fight with the disease earlier this year.

They would like to thank everybody who supported them and hope to organise an annual fundraising challenge in support the Bone Cancer Research Trust in memory of Kyle, from Buxton.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust was started in 2006 by bereaved families who wanted to see research carried out into this devastating cancer, raise awareness of this extremely rare disease and improve outcomes for future sufferers.
