Grindleford allotments open day

Grindleford Allotment Association is inviting people to an open day to see the fantastic work that’s been accomplished on-site.

At the open day on Sunday, July 14, allotment holders will be on hand to show visitors round their plots and explain how they grow their own.

There will be information boards giving information about what is being grown on each plot. Visitors will be able to view the beehives and vineyard and our enthusiasts on hand to answer questions.

There will be plant and produce stalls as well as light refreshments, all for a small donation.

The event is free to attend and will be held between 2pm and 5pm. The allotments are in the centre of the village beside the main road in Grindleford (B6521) near a bus-stop (served by 214 and 65 buses), opposite the Mount Pleasant Garage.
