Go walkies in a country estate for guide dog charity

Guide dogs are organising a Go Walkies for Guide Dogs event and needs other local people and dogs to lend their support.

Pam White and a team of fundraisers have organised a sponsored dog walk on June 9 at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire.

They need as much local support as possible to make their event a success.

Pam White said: “I’m really hoping to get lots of support for theGo Walkies for Guide Dogs event. We are thrilled to be having the event this year in the beautiful surroundings of Chatsworth House.”

“There are loads of ways people can get involved – sign up with your own dog, borrow a dog, share a dog or even dress up as a dog and get sponsored!

You too can support Guide Dogs by attending this event and go a long way to helping with the life-changing independence their work gives to thousands of blind and partially-sighted people are amazing.

Go Walkies for Guide Dogs launched in 2010 and is the only event of its kind where it’s the dog that gets sponsored to take part.

Events are taking place up and down the country, linking thousands of dog walkers together in their mission to help Guide Dogs.

If you can’t make Go walkies at Chatsworth House Go Walkies event you can organise your own event or sponsor Nuba, the official Go Walkies for Guide Dogs mascot.
