Headteacher Simon Grieves said: “These are great results and are the culmination of five years’ incredibly hard work from students and staff and fantastic support from parents.

“I’m especially pleased this year to see a really strong performance from our high achieving students, with 16 students attaining seven or more A* and A grades.

“The progress our students have made in the critical subjects of maths and English is once again well above national average.

“As a believer in inclusive education it is also wonderful to see strong results from students who have faced some real challenges in education. “

He added: “We are delighted that these results will allow our students to move on to the next stage of their education, wherever that may be, with strong foundations for future success.”
