Tickle your tastebuds with a tour of world flavours at one of the Pavilion Gardens’ most popular events - the Buxton Night Food and Drink Festival.

Kick-starting a weekend of carnival celebrations, the event on Friday July 8, between 4pm and 11pm, will feature a variety of delicious culinary delights including Thai, Mexican, Southern, Tex-Mex, Greek and Caribbean.

There will also a great selection of British burgers, chocolates, olives and humus, cakes, crepes and paella.

Hot food stalls will be positioned along the Gardens’ promenade, with cold food and drinks stalls located in the marquee. There will also be musical entertainment and fairground rides.

A spokesperson for the Buxton attraction said: “It’s the perfect opportunity to try out lots of locally produced wines and real ciders and beers alongside our fabulous array of ales and spirits.”

Admission to the festival is free.

Upcoming events at the Pavilion Gardens include the popular Weekend Food & Drink Festival on Friday July 29, from 4pm to 11pm, and Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31, from 11am to 5pm. This coincides with the grand opening of the Buxton Family Festival, featuring an action-packed fortnight of family activities between Saturday July 30 and Sunday August 14.
