Firefighters rescue trapped horse in Peak District village

Firefighters came to the rescue when a horse got trapped in a Peak District village.

The animal had become stuck in a partition in the back of a horsebox on Hathersage Road, Bamford.

Crews from Matlock, Bakewell and Hathersage were called to the incident at 11.45am on Sunday and removed the partition to free the horse.

They left the scene just after 1pm.
