Events to mark Trespass milestone

EVENTS are being held in New Mills as part of the Kinder Mass Trespass 80th anniversary.

A week-long exhibition focusing on the Kinder Mass Trespass and Countryside Access - Past, Present and Future will be held at New Mills Heritage Centre from Saturday April 21 until Sunday April 29.

Also on April 21, there will be two free public walks based on parts of the Trespass Trail designed by Roly Smith and the late Sir Martin Doughty for the 75th anniversary.

The walks - measuring eight miles and 3.5 miles - both depart New Mills Heritage Centre at 10.45am.
