This year has been very successful year at Lady Manners School with many strong performances at Advanced Level for Year 13 students.
Three students achieved the highest grades of A or A* in five full A Level subjects – Rachael Clough, Ruth Edmonds and Christopher Payne.
Nine students, Michael Beale, Kate Bruce, Grace Dammery-Quigley, Helena Dawson, Laura Edmondson, Jasmine Leng, Naomi Mawhood, Adam Sattaur and Madeleine Tudor Jones, achieved four Grade A or A* passes within their full A-level results.
Another 11 students achieved three Grade A or A* passes within their full A-level results. They are: Thomas Baker, Callum Bellhouse, Sophie Bradbury, Harriet Clugston, Hannah Essam, Millie Goodwin James, Gregory-Campeau, Megan Holmes, Lydia Ibbotson, Kyle Robinson and Yasmin Spencer.
Headteacher Duncan Meikle said: “Lots of students have performed particularly well this year. There is not doubt that the results overall are thoroughly well deserved.
“Congratulations to students and staff who have had to work very hard to achieve these excellent successes.”
Students at Lay Manners School have performed well overall with many achieving the top grade. More than half of all the grades achieved are in the higher categories of A*, A or B.
In addition there were many other good performances at a variety of levels that saw students achieve the grades they needed.
