Parents were invited to join pupils, staff and other guests to see for themselves the new classroom extension and extensive internal refurbishment of the building.

Headteacher Rachel Purvis said the changes had made a massive difference to the school. “We have a big new classroom and the school has been completely refitted throughout.”

The changes to the original Victorian building have transformed the facilities which are now light, airy and spacious.

Among the changes internally is the updated IT equipment which has also been installed at the school.
