FOUR brothers from Buxton have completed a 65-mile cycle ride to raise money for Parkinson’s

Robert, 14, Alex, 12, Edward, 9, and Stuart Diamond, 9, rode from Harpur Hill to Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham, finishing in a time of five-and-a-half hours.

They have so far raised over £300 for Parkinson’s UK, a charity which supports their grandad Jim who was diagnosed with the condition two years ago.

Mum Annie said: “The boys would like to thank everyone who has supported them.”

This is their third ride for charity. In previous years, they have cycled with friends from Tynemouth to Edinburgh and also Coast to Coast, raising £1,000 for Help for Heroes and over £400 for Children in Need respectively.

Donations for the latest ride can still be submitted through www.justgiving.com/DiamondsB2B, or by contacting Annie on 07726 996 747.
