THE death of an 87-year-old woman at her Fairfield home is not being treated as suspicious, Derbyshire Police have said.
Police began enquiries on Friday after the woman died at her Bench Road home on Monday, February 13.
Paramedics had been called to the address but she was pronounced dead.
Officers conducted a number of enquiries over the weekend and a post mortem examination took place on Monday.
As a result, no suspicious circumstances have been found and officers will now prepare a file for HM Coroner.
An inquest into the 87-year-old’s death will take place in due course.
