Officers in Fairfield are reminding residents to keep their vehicles secure following a number of thefts in the area.

Overnight between Monday January 6 and Tuesday January 7, a wallet was stolen from a Kia Sportage parked on a driveway on Kings Close.

Sometime between 5pm on Sunday January 5 and 3pm on Tuesday January 7, offenders gained entry to a Renault Megane. A sat-nav, phone charger and a gentleman’s ICE watch were taken from the vehicle that was parked on Chatsworth Road.

Two other incidents have also occurred on The Front, Fairfield where football boots and a sports bag were stolen.
