Police investigate mobile phone theft in Glossop

Police in Glossop are appealing for information after a Samsung Galaxy S4 was stolen from a charity shop.

Between 1.30pm and 2pm on Saturday, March 21, a man entered the Glossopdale Furniture Project store on Henry Street, Glossop, and began talking to a member of staff on reception.

The man leaned over the desk as he showed the receptionist some beauty leaflets.

He then left the store and the staff member noticed that their Samsung mobile had gone missing.

The man was described as Asian, having facial stubble and wearing a red coloured jacket.

He is also believed to have spoken with a deep voice.
