Crime figures

CRIME has fallen again in the Derbyshire Dales in the past year, according to new figures.

The Home Office statistics show only 18 crimes per thousand people in the Dales - down from 20 crimes per thousand last year - a reduction of 13 per cent on 2010/11 and by far the lowest figure in Derbyshire.

The Derbyshire Dales has one of the lowest crime rates for any district in England - well under the national average.
