Crash involving two people and a baby on Hayfield bypass

Police and fire are in attendance after a crash on the Hayfield Bypass

Derbyshire Constabulary confirmed he crash in New Mills and said firefighters have managed to re-open the road and traffic is flowing.

A spokeswoman said: "We got a call at 12.25pm and the Fire Service and Mountain Rescue are also in attendance.

"Two vehicles were involved, one of which was a van, and there are two people and a baby involved but no sign of any injuries."

Anyone with information pertaining to the crash should call police on 101, quoting crime number 386 of March 31.
