Concerns growing over missing Glossop man

Police are concerned for the welfare of Glossop man Eamonn Michael McConville, who went missing yesterday morning (May 18).

Eamonn’s car was found at some stables on Highfield Parkway in Bramhall, Stockport.

He is aged 51, white, around 5ft 6ins and of a broad build with fair hair and blue eyes.

It is believed he is wearing grey jeans, cream coloured hiking boots and may be wearing a black top.

Sergeant Steve Jones, of Greater Manchester Police’s Stockport Borough, said: “As we have found Eamonn’s car in the Bramhall area, we are focusing our search here and think he may be nearby.

“I’m urging people to familiarise themselves with his photograph and if they see him, I need them to call us as soon as they can as we are very concerned for his welfare.”
