Classic V Dubs coming to town

THERE’S still time for owners of classic Volkswagens to register for a new show taking place in the High Peak.

V Dub Drive is a free show, taking place at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton on September 30 and is open to owners of all aircooled VW’s from Beetles to Splitscreens, Bays and Karmann Ghias.

Prizes for best Beetle, best bus and best type three/Ghia will be given out on the day with the judging carried out by those attending the event.

After the show, a mini cruise in and around Buxton will also take place.

Local band The Indieannas, formerly The Stand, will be playing on the bandstand during the show.

Spaces are strictly limited so pre-booking is essential.

The show is all taking place on the Promenade at the Pavilion Gardens and will not be cancelled in the event of adverse weather.
