Adrenaline–seekers in the High Peak are being invited to take part in a charity abseil to raise money fro charity.
The British Red Cross is hosting a charity abseil off the Miller’s Dale Viaduct, near Tideswell, on October 13.
The abseil, dubbed the Peak District Drop, will see brave participants descend over the edge of the viaduct, touching brick for just ten feet, before free–abseiling with just the ropes for support for the remaining 70 feet to reach the valley floor.
Participants are asked to raise at least £150 and there is a £10 registration fee.
Places are limited and those who wish to take part should sign up at www.redcross.org.uk/peakdistrictdrop or contacting Alex Gadsby on 01158 528016 or email@example.com.
