CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH Morris Men are helping more people get on their bikes and enjoy the countryside.

The entertainers have donated £200 to the Tandem Trike Fund towards the purchase of a tandem tricycle for use on Derbyshire’s cycle trails.

Squire Peter Helps, from Chapel Morris Men, said: “The generosity of our audiences enables us to make charitable donations.

“We chose this fund because one of our regular followers, who takes great enjoyment from watching us, would be among the many people to benefit.”

The follower’s carer, Jenny Cookson, was presented with the cheque during a recent Morris performance at the Beehive in Combs.
