Buxton students quiz parliamentary candidates

Students at Buxton Community School had the chance to quiz two of the High Peak’s prospective parliamentary candidates recently.

Following on from successful trips to the Houses of Parliament, sixth form students were visited by Andrew Bingham and Caitlin Bisknell in what proved to be a heated question and answer session.

They had the chance to ask questions ranging from their views on the EU, tuition fees and taxes to what should be done to give young people better opportunities in the High Peak.

Thanks were given to them both for giving up their time and allowing the students the opportunity to further explore the world of politics, economics and more importantly, to find out more about who they will be voting for.
