T-shirts raise £2k for trees

SHOPPERS in Buxton can help raise money to plant scores of trees by buying charity t-shirts at the town's Dorothy Perkins store.

Money from t-shirt sales is donated to woodland conservation charity, the Woodland Trust.

Sales of the previous charity clothing range from the Buxton store in 2007 and 2008 raised about 2,000 for the charity and enabled 386 trees to be planted.

From May 10, for every t-shirt sold, 5 will be donated to the charity. Log onto www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/dp.
