THE East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS), Unison, GMB, and the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) have signed a Joint Learning Agreement.

The document outlines the organisations’ commitment to support staff with their continued learning and development.

It details their pledge to work together to help source and signpost members to learning opportunities of interest and relevance to them, including work or personal interests to help frontline crews in their day to day experience whilst also aid towards a better patient experience.

Paul Brown, Unison Branch Secretary at EMAS, said: “It has been good working in partnership between Unison, EMAS and other organisations to be one of the first ambulance services to get a Joint Learning Agreement signed.”
