Peak MP’s bid to help businesses
High Peak MP Andrew Bingham is to host a ‘Business Export Seminar’ to give help and encouragement to local businesses that wish to start exporting.
Organised in association with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the Business Export Seminar is free to attend and will be held at Chapel-en-le-Frith Golf Club on Wednesday September 19, from 9am to 1pm, and include a buffet lunch.
The four-hour programme will include a speaker from UKTI and others to be confirmed, as well as stalls from various organisations including HSBC.
Mr Bingham said: “We have a lot of enterprising and innovative small businesses in the High Peak, many of whom may wish to start exporting, but don’t know where to start.
“The idea behind this event is to help them get started, to point them in the right direction and provide them with any information they need.
“I recognise that for small businesses time is very precious, so I’m trying to put together the strongest programme of speakers and attendees that I can, so that businesses will really get something out of the event and feel that it is worth their time attending.”
