DERBYSHIRE patients are being invited to nominate their NHS Heroes.
The new scheme was launched in July to coincide with the service’s 64th birthday, to recognise the great work individuals and teams do every day in the NHS.
Patients and their families are being encouraged to nominate staff members and teams whose compassion and kindness has made a difference to their lives.
Anyone working in the NHS can be nominated, for any reason, and the closing date for entries is September 21.
Lew Hall, Lead Governor, said: “It’s fantastic that Derbyshire Healthcare’s patients across the county are being invited to nominate their NHS Heroes.”
