PEAK businesswoman Jane Weightman has added another prestigious award to her trophy cabinet.

For the second time in three years, she has scooped the top regional prize in the language provider section of the UK Trade and Investment International Business Communication Award competition.

Jane, principal of Commercial Language Training, received her cheque and glass trophy during a VIP ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester fronted by TV presenter Dominic Heal.

Jane, a member of Buxton Golf Club, went into business on her own account after lecturing at Sheffield's Richmond College.

Since then, she has won a number of top business awards.

She is a member of Hope Valley Rotary Club, a past president and a Paul Harris Fellow - which recognises outstanding community service at home and abroad and is the highest honour accorded to any Rotarian.
