Derbyshire firms have the chance to win contracts, develop new trading relationships and unlock potential business opportunities with three trade missions planned.
Trips to Poland and Germany, being facilitated by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Midlands and supported by UK Trade & Investment, take place between February 28 and March 2.
Firms can find out at first hand about opportunities on offer in Abu Dhabi and Dubai on a market visit to the United Arab Emirates between February 24 and March 2.
It will be organised and hosted by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and supported by UK Trade & Investment.
Peter Hogarth, Regional Trade Director for UK Trade & Investment East Midlands, added: “Exporting is vital for the survival and growth of companies across the East Midlands and to succeed there is no substitute for meeting people face to face in their own country.
“By joining a market visit companies get the opportunity to meet the people, build contacts and experience the country and its opportunities first-hand.
David Hood, the Chamber’s Head of International Trade, said: “Dubai and Abu Dhabi are important business hubs for the Middle East and act as a gateway into the Emirates.
Direct flights from local airports to and from the region make it easily accessible to firms, offering huge opportunities for trading.
