A leading employment law firm is hosting a free Employment Law and Health & Safety Seminar in Buxton next week.
The event organised by Peninsula, in conjunction with irun, will take place on Wednesday March 7 at the Old Hall Hotel, The Square, Buxton from 9.30am, finishing at 12.45pm.
The seminar “Everything You Need to Know About Employment Law in Just 3 Hours” is open to business owners, proprietors and senior decision makers only and will cover important HR issues and employment law changes that they need to know.
Peter Done, managing director of Peninsula, said: “Employment law is a complicated topic which can often lead to confusion and uncertainty for employers and managers.
“It is important that they gain a solid understanding of the latest legislation in order to ensure their business meets the relevant legal requirements and they avoid unnecessary and costly potential tribunal claims.”
The event will cover the most important aspects of employment law, including changing contracts of employment, managing redundancy, dealing with a tribunal claim and protecting your business from litigation.
Mr Done said: “The time and effort needed to ensure that your business complies and follows the most recent rules and regulations can be huge. The seminar will detail ways in which to proceed as a business to avoid prosecution and to guarantee your firm is legally compliant. “Our seminar will show you how to easily comply with employment legislation whilst allowing you to do what you do best – run your business.”
