A company that supplies machinery for the plastics industry is hoping for triple success at industry awards.
TH Plastics, based in Graphite Way, Hadfield, is a finalist for the third year running in the Plastics Industry Awards (PIAs), having previously won in 2011 and 2012.
The firm has made the shortlist in the supplier partnership ancillary machinery category, the same category in which it twice previously triumphed.
TH Plastics supplies, installs and supports ancillary machinery in the plastics industry, and develops UK distribution partnerships with world class manufacturers.
This year’s shortlisted entry relates to the company’s work for global packaging company, Kobusch, which selected TH Plastics to provide a system for its County Durham site.
Lee Thomas, TH Plastics’ managing director, commented: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for our partnership with Kobusch, and are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be a case of three wins in a row.
“We are tremendously proud of the partnerships we develop with our customers, and are always pleased when these achieve recognition.”
The winners of the PIAs will be announced at a gala dinner at London’s Hilton on Park Lane on September 27, and will be hosted by TV presenter, comedian and actor, Tim Vine.
As well as their award success in the last two years, the company was also a finalist in the PIA award ceremony in 2010.
